Conference Overview

Niagara Falls – It’s Time to Reconnect!

Here it is, TIAC family.

We are back.
Together.
Once again.

We cannot wait to see everyone, to reconnect, in person!

This Conference will be smaller, and we will be following all of the provincial indoor gathering guidelines, social distancing rules and mask policies that may be in place.

With that, here is what we hope to deliver at the Conference!

The proposed two-day technical program will include presentations on mental health from a remote working perspective, the new MICA North American Commercial and Industrial Insulation Standards, the TIAC Quality Assurance Program, corrosion under insulation and project management.

The Sectional and Presidents and Managers meetings will allow for more information and idea sharing that will guide TIAC’s focus and efforts for the next year.

As always, we encourage everyone to get out and explore the city. Support those local restaurants and retailers!

We will share updates and information on the Conference as details are confirmed.

See you at the Falls!

Shaun, Joey & Rob
TIAC Executive

Power Laughs: Using Humour to Build Resilience
Jessica Holmes, Celebrated Comedian | Author | Mental Health Advocate
There’s no better way than humour to remind us we’re all in this together, so take a load off with some laughs! Stress is a part of life, especially with the triggers a pandemic brings, but we are more likely to live healthy, productive lives if we maintain our physical and emotional resilience. This touching, honest, and laugh-out-loud presentation offers simple, achievable steps to redirect our thoughts and take charge of our well-being. Jessica Holmes proves that comedy is more than an entertainment form; it is a powerful filter through which we can navigate stressful situations, empower us to recover from setbacks, and face challenges more easily. She brings all the fun and energy of her comedy act, reminding us that while life is far from perfect these days, it’s easier with our sense of humour intact.
